Welcome to the WReNNZ Educational Wildlife Conference 2026!
SATURDAY
WReNNZ is New Zealand's national wildlife network, open to everyone interested in New Zealand wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release. Annually, WReNNZ provides quality wildlife education focused on best practice rehabilitation, biennially hosting a national wildlife conference, alternating with national wildlife workshops.
WReNNZ's Educational Wildlife Conference 2026, “Rolling with those Punches”, was held online on Saturday, 11 and Sunday, 12 July 2026. With travel and fuel costs being high across New Zealand, hosting the conference online meant more people could take part without the added expense of getting there.
This section covers Saturday's sessions, split into an AM and PM recording. You'll hear HPAI updates from international experts in South America, Australia and the UK, alongside sessions on Veterinary Operating Instructions, avian eyes, and a bittern case study. We hope you'll enjoy learning a considerable amount from their presentations.
