  • The completion period for paid courses is six months. Access after the 6-month timeframe will be ongoing but on a request basis and at the discretion of WReNNZ. Allowing application-based access to past students will enable individuals to refresh their original learnings on an ongoing basis.

  • There is copyright on the content and it may not be shared.

  • Our courses are for anyone who is keen to learn how to rescue and care for birds, no matter where you may live in the world.

  • Anyone under the age of 16 requires parental consent to access our course website.

  • We may utilise cadavers when demonstrating various techniques; this is so we do not stress live birds unnecessarily. Any live bird handling demonstrated is in full compliance with NZ Department of Conservation permit conditions and has minimal impacts on the welfare of the bird. Treatments or nursing of birds is recorded during the normal course of treatments of a bird and not for demonstration purposes.

  • All PAID courses are awarded a Certificate of Completion.

  • We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser when doing our courses.

  • We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. You will have 30 days from the purchase date. The platform tracks the percentage of progress through the course. If you have viewed 50% or less of the course within the first 30 days and feel you have not learnt anything new, we will refund the purchase price.
